Handstitched U Thong Quilts
Product story In 1989, an American woman taught Khun Pharadi Sihera and housewives about how to do quilts. Local resources are employed. The group has received supports from Development Community Provincial Office and Industry Center (Region 8) in Suphan Buri. And it was selected as one of OTOP 5-star products.
What makes it special: The group adds value to silk by making silk quilts; the group is the first to do so in Thailand. U Thong quilts are meticulously hand-made cloth with patterns tailored to specific customersโ needs. And they are environment friendly.
