Stitching Calm, Creating with Purpose
At Ruk Jai, embroidery is more than a craft. It is a way to find calm, express creativity and experience the satisfaction of making something unique.
Our maker, Nuchari Chaikittiwattana, is 63 years old. She creates hand-embroidered fabric bags and cross-stitch artwork, working alongside an 80-year-old artisan who assembles the bags. Together, they bring patience, care and their own personal touch to every piece.
Our association also supports people receiving psychiatric care, with embroidery offering a peaceful creative activity within a therapeutic setting. For older makers, it is an opportunity to stay engaged, share their skills and earn additional income while doing something meaningful.
We work in small batches, rather than mass production. Each piece has its own character, with the little variations that make handmade work special. Personalisation is an important part of what we offer, and we welcome custom orders for thoughtful gifts and framed artwork to brighten your home.
Your purchase helps provide additional income for our two artisans and supports the people involved in our initiative. It encourages them to continue creating in their free time and helps keep their skills recognised and valued.
Thank you for being part of our story, one stitch at a time.
