When you need an อย. number

Many processed and packaged foods sold in Thailand need an อย. number, and buyers abroad often ask for it. The rules depend on the type of food, so ask your provincial public health office.

Do it now in your shop

  1. Check which category your product belongs to.
  2. Contact your provincial public health office (สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัด).
  3. Once you have the number, print it on the label and mention it in your product description.
